When did I become the uncool mom?

My daughter snubbed me tonight....I was shocked. When did I become the uncool mom? I don't remember my mom being as cool as me at the age of 35.

We were at a Girl Scout dance and I went to dance with her and she said "no mom" while holding her hands up in the stop position. I was a little hurt. What happened to the girl that needed me by her side at all times?

I guess I need to get used to being pushed aside in public and not take it to heart, but darnit it is hard.

She is going to be 11....when do I become the cool mom again?
